On July 1st, 2011 – Art of Travel Blogging will be hosting a Travel Photography 101 Technical Basics Webinar.

Join to watch the recording!

Who is this for?

If you’re looking to start photography but don’t know all the technical things that involve taking a picture outside of automatic, then this is for you. Learn how to use exposure, focus, lighting, and more. The presenters will teach you techniques on how to get the most out of your camera to take better pictures.

We’re even going to have a photography composition webinar in a few week. We’ll keep progressing in this series to the more advanced levels in the coming weeks.

The Presenters

Bethany Salvon (Beers and Beans): Bethany Salvon is a professional photographer and travel junkie. She can be found at her travel site Beers and Beans, and on her wedding photography site, Nariko’s Nest.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, has worked as a commercial photographer, has been photographing weddings for over 11 years and is currently wandering the world as a travel photographer. In addition to being the travel photographer for the San Diego Uptown News, she also freelances for other publications covering various assignments that range from shooting Ziggy Marley to gang injunctions, police checkpoints to heroin and opiate addiction in the North County of California.

She is a sucker for street photos & emotive images that capture a moment in time. Her favorite food is the blueberry and she never wants to be eaten by an alligator.

Some examples of her recent work:
